We've been busy back in the R&D department for the past month or so, scrambling to put together the next enhancement pack for Blink Campaign. From further usability testing and feedback, we've made a number of subtle improvements in the interface as well as the backend engines. So without further adieu, we are happy to present *drum roll* v1.3.
Manage multiple templates in a snap

If you love newsletter templates like us, you'll love the new template management features we've included. Now, you can quickly create multiple template categories and assign your templates accordingly. Great for clients who have various sets of email template designs such as Announcements, Promotions, single column or 2 column layouts and more. Get an overview of all your available templates and sort and label them accordingly. We've even had a fan (a freelance designer called Dave) who've gone around the web collecting ideas and researching on email newsletter templates and started converting them to Blink Templates to use.
Manually inputting subscriber details
Perhaps it was an oversight on our part: apparently, some users couldn't find the barre "|" symbol and had some problems trying to manually input their subscriber details. Well, we've straightened things out and reverted to those oh-so-casual commas ",". Sorry about that folks! Hope this helps you out.
Simple subscriber management

Don't you love those nice big bright buttons in Blink Campaign? Our interface designer sure does. In fact, we've thrown them all over the place (actually, only in screens that people would most likely use them) to make certain tasks just a little simpler. Add, remove, export. That's all there is to it. No longer will you need to hunt down a particular subscriber in a mass of 50,000 emails.
Please include a plain text version
In a bid to encourage good email marketing practices, we've exposed the plain text field directly in your campaigns. Remember that not everyone can view HTML email and we strongly encourage that you at least have a simple text-based version for your recipient's benefit. Go the little extra mile to copy and paste in the crux of your email campaign.
Campaign status labels

Another one out of the usability bible. Get a quick indication of which campaigns are in Draft, Scheduled or Launched. We've color coded the labels for visual scanning. Oh and if you've noticed, we've also replaced the preview hyperlink with a simple icon to make the grid less "wordy".
Even better campaign reports!
Dynamic rollover click-through reporting
Hyperlink labels a blah. Especially when your client logs in to see rows of hyperlinks with even longer query strings. Now with dynamic campaign performance reporting, you can see your click-throughs from your email campaign by simple putting your mouse over the hyperlink. Great for comparing campaign performance and more importantly, visually assess which design elements and call-to-actions have been the most effective. If you've had some previous campaign reports, login now and give it a go. We hope your clients will be just as impressed as ours have been!

Know exactly which of your subscribers have clicked-through
Knowing exactly which of your subscribers have clicked through for a particular email campaign is great data for conducting follow up campaigns. Noticed JohnDoe@email.com has been actively clicking through to the business shirts section of your client's online store? Send over a targeted or exclusive email campaign over to him. Requesting for an online survey through your email campaign? Get information on exactly who has clicked-through to the survey page. Send over a small "thank you" token for those who have completed the survey. Or perhaps inquire if that have clicked-through has had some difficulty completing the survey. There's countless ways in utilizing this information.
Once again, thank you all for your continuous support and constructive feedback. We'll be working on the next release, after a nice little weekend getaway.
